Enjoy the outdoors while learning about the white-tail deer and its life cycle at Merkle Wildlife Sanctuary. This program is open to people of all ages. Visitors should bring their own drinking water, sunscreen, bug spray and field guide. Please note: The bridge on Fenno Road to Merkle is closed for repairs until further notice. From Rte. 301, take Croom Road. Instead of turning onto St. Thomas Church Road (as most GPS units and maps will suggest), continue on Croom Road, then make a left onto Nottingham Road and a left onto Fenno Road.
