Prince George's County residents will have a chance to take part in this nationwide day of volunteering. At this Public Lands Day event, youth ages 13-17 can earn volunteer service hours by planting trees, cleaning up rivers, enhancing trails and other land-related activities. Projects on average last two-three hours. Work gloves, tools and other materials will be provided; dress appropriately.
