National Register Hearing

The Town of Upper Marlboro is up for nomination by the PG County Historic Preservation Commission to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The town will hold a public hearing on the nomination in the Media Room on the first floor of the County Administration Building. Property owners who reside within the nominated area have been sent notice of the hearing by letter. Provided that there is a positive outcome at the hearing, the nomination will be forwarded for approval to the County Council, County Executive, the State and lastly, the U.S. Park Service. Four other nominations are on the HPC's agenda for that night.
