Forestville Man Dies After Shooting at Gas Station

Prince George's police are looking for suspects in Monday night incident.

A 22-year-old Forestville man died Monday night after being shot at a local gas station, and the Prince George’s County police are looking for suspects.

At about 7:10 p.m. Monday, patrol officers responded to the 3200 block of Walters Lane in Forestville for the report of a shooting, according to a police statement. When they arrived, they found Christopher Charles Ealey, of Hil Mar Drive, suffering from gunshot wounds inside the service station.

Ealey was taken to a local hospital, where he died a short time later, the police said. Ealey was not a gas station employee.

Detectives are treating the case as a homicide and are working to identify the suspect or suspects and the motive, the police said. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.
