The Maryland Black Mayors, Inc. (MBM) will host its annual Fundraising Gala on Friday, May 1, 2015, at Camelot by Martin’s in Upper Marlboro, MD at 7:00 p.m. The event will celebrate outstanding community leaders and raise the capital needed to fund academic scholarships for students in member-represented municipalities. The scholarship awards will be presented live at the Gala.

The MBM Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial awards to qualifying high school seniors or first year undergraduate college students from represented municipalities matriculating at an accredited college, university, or technical institution. All students are eligible for the scholarship program regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or nationality.
