Notify Me Warning System Being Upgraded
Prince George's County residents can create an account for the emergency alerts online.

An upgrade to the Notify Me Prince Georgeβs emergency alert system is under way, offering county residents Amber Alerts and weather warnings, along with the ability to manage their account via an app and customize alert settings.
This system will provide several new features and upgrades that will improve how emergency and non-emergency information is shared with residents, businesses and visitors.
Notify Me Prince Georgeβs will continue to convey messages that range from weather-related incidents to traffic alerts. Other notifications include: amber alerts, school and government delays and closings, Circuit and District Court delays and closings, utility interruptions and specific instructions regarding emergency protective measures.

βPrince Georgeβs County is one of 17 jurisdictions within the National Capital Region that have transitioned to the new Everbridge notification platform,β said Brian R. Moe, director of Prince Georgeβs County Office of Homeland Security. βUsers can select the types of alerts and notifications they wish to receive, and how they would like to receive them.β

Β· Get targeted weather alerts based on geographical addresses
Β· Create βquiet periods and do not disturbβ timeframe to limit when you receive messages
Β· Customize alert settings with up to five addresses
Β· Receive notification via phone, text, email or fax
Β· Easily manage their Notify Me profiles from their mobile device via a downloadable iPhone or Android App.
Notify Me Prince Georgeβs is available to anyone who lives, works or plays in Prince Georgeβs County. To gain access to the new system and enhanced features, visit NotifyMe.mypgc.us to register your information. Current subscribers are also encouraged to log in and update their existing account.
