State Probing Unreported $206K Donation to Rushern Baker's Campaign

Political committee County 1 failed to file paperwork for the Jan. 2010 contribution, the Washington Post reports.

State election officials are asking aΒ political committeeΒ why it neglected toΒ report aΒ $206,000 donation toΒ Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker's 2010Β campaign, The Washington PostΒ writes.

According to theΒ Post, County 1 failed to filed paperwork forΒ its Jan. 13, 2010 donation and didn't record any income of its own until after the contribution was made.

Depending on the information provided to the State Board of Elections, the matter could be referred to state prosecutorsΒ for further investigation.
