The Prince George’s County Fair Opens on Sept. 6

Fair is the oldest in the State of Maryland.

The Prince George’s County Fair returns to the Prince George’s Equestrian Center and Show Place Arena from Thursday, Sept. 6, through Sunday, Sept. 9.

In 1842, the Prince George’s County Fair started as a fun way for local farmers to display their produce and livestock. Today, Maryland’s oldest running fair still features crops and animals, but it has expanded into an event with a little something for everyone – food, crafts, art, games, competitions, carnival rides, food, music, car races, food, dancing and ... oh ... did I mention food?
