1 Hurt, 6 Displaced In Westminster House Fire
One person was treated at a hospital after a Westminster house fire that displaced six people, according to the state fire marshal's office.
WESTMINSTER, MD — One person was treated at a hospital after a Westminster house fire that displaced six people Monday afternoon, according to the state fire marshal's office.
The fire was reported about 2:17 p.m. in a house at 61 Pennsylvania Ave. in Westminster. Damage was estimated at $100,000.
One person was taken to Bayview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said in a news release.

Westminster Volunteer Fire Company and the Carroll County Department of Fire and EMS responded to the fire.
A resident discovered the fire in a bedroom and a smoke alarm was activated. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
