$50K Damage To Carroll County Barn Caused By Fire
A barn in Westminster sustained $50,000 damage Sunday from a fire. The state fire marshal is investigating the cause.
WESTMINSTER, MD — A barn in Westminster sustained $50,000 damage Sunday night from a fire, the Maryland State Fire Marshal's office said in a news release.
The pole barn fire was spotted by a resident on the property at 604 Jasontown Road just after 11 p.m.
Authorities said the New Windsor Volunteer Fire Company responded, and had the blaze under control in 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported, the fire marshal said. There were no smoke alarms or sprinklers in the barn.
