Lunch About Nothing is held the fourth Monday of the month at Collision Course in Westminster (not necessarily the last Monday,) from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Or as it has been suggested, it is really "Lunch About Community."
Just buy your lunch from a great menu of salads and fresh sandwiches. The friendly service and food at Collision Course is excellent.
It is a wonderful opportunity to make new contacts and see friends. Business is everywhere if you look. Bring some friends. This month we had a full house.
Someone at the event asked me when we started Lunch About Nothing. My records go back to 2013. Lyndi McNulty started it. Zach Tomlin and Billy Lyve hosted it for a while. These days, Regina Brooks with Quantum Internet Service is our host.
Bring plenty of business cards and fliers. Be prepared to introduce yourself with a 30 second elevator speech.
It is important to keep your name out there. You never know where the business is and name recognition is important when someone needs your service or product.
It is a good place to look for a new employee or to get your name out there for a job.
Long term relationships will bring you business. No need to RSVP. You do not need to join. The group is open.
