FINKSBURG, MD — A fire in a Carroll County barn caused an estimated $50,000 damage, according to the Maryland state fire marshal.

The fire was reported by the resident shortly after noon Saturday at 993 Ridge Road in Finksburg.

The Reese Volunteer Fire Company battled the flames for an hour.
