'Beauty' Unveiled at Carroll Arts Center

This exhibit will present the works of seven women who create in various media and diverse styles.

The Tevis Gallery at the Carroll Arts Center will feature an exhibit entitled “Beautiful” from January 15 to March 15.

The exhibit will highlight the work of seven female artists.

According to a Carroll Arts Center news release, elegant formal portraits and classically inspired sculpture by Kateryna  Dovgan will be juxtaposed next to the bold, painterly brush stroke figurative work of Sherrill Cooper.  Lisa Sheppard’s masterful use of pastel and watercolor perfection by Lucille Kerns, and the oil masterpieces of Cris Wenderoth and meticulously acrylic vistas of Darlene Jones give viewers a look and landscape, cityscape and seascape.  The bold color and shape in Felisa Flecker’s paintings provides an abstract interlude for the show.
