Burke Named Director of Nursing

Rebecca Burke, RN-BC, BSN, has been promoted to Director of Nursing for Carroll Lutheran Village. She has more than 30 years of experience in long-term and acute care settings. She joined Carroll Lutheran Village in November 2018 as the Assistant Director of Nursing.

Rebecca earned a Registered Nursing degree from Harford Community College and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Notre Dame of Maryland University. She is a Certified Gerontological Nurse and has a Six Sigma Greenbelt in Health Care.

As Director of Nursing, Burke will direct and support the nursing team as they care for residents of the Health Center at Carroll Lutheran Village. “Rebecca is a hands-on nurse who is constantly researching better ways to provide care for people,” said Health Center Director Michael Athen.

She resides in southern Pennsylvania where she is active in her church and with a poodle rescue.
