Carroll County Public Schools has expanded the Career and Technical Education partnership with Littlestown Area School District (LASD) to include access to the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program at Winters Mill High School. High school students will have the opportunity to join JROTC alongside students from WMHS and other CCPS high schools. As with the LASD students who attend the Career and Technology Center, LASD students in JROTC will not displace CCPS students. LASD students who enroll in CCPS programs will pay the out-of-county tuition rate to cover the cost of their enrollment.
We are excited to expand a partnership that has proven to be good for students. LASD and Littlestown High School have worked to ensure that students are able to follow their career path by joining our CTE programs. We are pleased with the success that we have had with the partnership at CCCTC, and are looking forward to providing opportunities in JROTC at WMHS.
