Carroll Co. Schools : Feedback On Proposed 2022-2023 School Calendar

The Board of Education of Carroll County is seeking feedback on the proposed 2022-2023 School Calendar. This proposed calendar seeks to maximize full weeks of school to support consistency of instruction. Highlights of the calendar include:

• The first student school day is proposed to be after Labor Day on September 6, 2022
• Winter Break is proposed to begin with a 2 hour and 45 minute early dismissal on December 23, 2022, with students returning on January 3
• Spring Break is proposed to be Thursday, April 6, 2023, through Tuesday, April 11, 2023
• The last day of school for students is proposed to be Thursday, June 15, 2023, which includes four (4) Emergency Closing days built into the calendar. If no emergency closing days are used, the last student day would be Friday, June 9, 2023.
