Carroll Deputies Push for Change: PHOTO
Deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff's Office were caught going the extra mile during a time of police scrutiny nationwide.

Carroll County, MD — When a car gets stuck, some people call for roadside assistance. But during a recent downpour in Carroll County, local law enforcement stepped in to assist.
"The attached picture was recently sent in to us, and shows Cpl. Main and [Deputy First Class] Schue assisting a motorist in the rain," the Carroll County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook. "We are always glad to hear of deputies going above and beyond to assist the community."
The photograph was shared on Facebook Monday morning, days after five officers were gunned down in Dallas by a man who resented police, and conversations across the country were centered around police-community relations.
