Carroll Lutheran Village Resident Has First Birthday Party
Charlie Poffinberger celebrated 95 years!
Carroll Lutheran Village resident Charlie Poffinberger was surprised with a birthday party on April 6 in celebration of his 95th birthday on March 30. This was the first birthday party Poffinberger had ever had. Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz (left) held the cake so Poffinberger (right) could blow out the candles.
Carroll Lutheran Village is an accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Westminster with approximately 700 residents in 398 homes and apartments, 50 assisted living suites in the Diven House and 103 skilled nursing beds in the Health Care Center.
