Carroll Wants Input On Comprehensive Rezoning

There are five sessions for public input as part of Carroll County's comprehensive rezoning process.

From Carroll Co.: The Carroll County Department of Planning announces the dates for public information sessions to discuss and receive feedback on the county’s Comprehensive Rezoning initiative. Comprehensive rezoning is the process whereby Carroll County changes the zoning map to be consistent with the Master Plan. It involves reviewing and updating the zoning code and ensures the zoning map and code align with the community’s vision for the future. All Carroll County residents, not living in municipalities, may be affected.

Phase I, which begins immediately, involves the county reviewing the text, specifically in the commercial, industrial and employment campus zones. This will be a multi-year process covering both the texts and maps.

Comprehensive rezoning public information sessions for Phase I discussion are planned for every district in Carroll County and will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the locations listed below:
