CCPS Makes Weather Decision For Tuesday, March 20

CAROLL COUNTY, MD – Schools in Carroll County will close earlier than usual on Tuesday, March 20. School officials made the announcement Tuesday morning.

Students will be dismissed and schools will be closed three hours early on Tuesday, March 20, according to officials.

All after-school activities sponsored by Carroll County Public Schools are canceled. Activities that are not sponsored by the school system but which are held at school facilities are also canceled on Tuesday, March 20.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and winter storm watch for Carroll County calling for snow, sleet and freezing rain on Tuesday, with several inches of snow expected by Wednesday evening.
