Fire Strikes Westminster Homeless Encampment
The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the fire at a homeless camp in Westminster.

WESTMINSTER, MD - Authorities are investigating a fire that broke out at a homeless encampment in Westminster over the weekend.
At 4:41 p.m. on Sunday, a passerby reported that there was a fire behind the 100 block of John Street.
Four firefighters from Westminster responded and brought the blaze under control within 10 minutes, according to the Office of the State Fire Marshal.

There was no damage, and nobody was injured in the fire, which officials said occurred at a homeless encampment.
The cause and origin of the blaze are under investigation.
