Carroll Lutheran Villagehas welcomed Christine Konecni as the Director of Life Enrichment for the Health Center and the Diven House for assisted living. The New York native is a graduate of Columbia University. She is a Certified Activities Director and a Certified Dementia Practitioner.
As Director of Life Enrichment, Konecni directs staff and volunteers in providing recreation and leisure programs to residents in the Health Center. She previously held similar roles at two Carroll County skilled nursing facilities.
“Christine has a hands-on approach to providing person-centered experiences to residents,” said Health Center Director Michael Athen. “She also enjoys working with staff in a coaching model.”

She lives in Mt. Airy with her husband, Jonathan, and their four children.
Carroll Lutheran Village is an accredited, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community in Westminster with approximately 700 residents in 398 homes and apartments, 50 assisted living suites in the Diven House and 103 skilled nursing beds in the Health Care Center.
