Marriage and Relationship Education Center Announces New Board Members

New board members help nonprofit strengthen relationships through education.

As the Marriage and Relationship Education Center (MREC) celebrates its 12th year as a nonprofit, Executive Director Amy Gilford joins board members Patrick McCarthy and Glenn and Christine Wright in welcoming seven new members to their board of directors.

MREC is a faith-based nonprofit, established in 2004 and located in the Carroll Nonprofit Center in Westminster. Their mission is to serve the community with relationship education, helping marriages and families thrive. Frequently, MREC partners with nonprofits, schools, churches, businesses to provide awareness through programs like Date Nights and Family Walks. Curriculum materials are rooted in biblical principles, research-based and offered in both faith-based and nonsectarian settings.
