Point Breeze Credit Union to Open Westminster Office, Offering the Latest Banking Innovations for Member Convenience

New office eliminates teller lines, offers more personalized service and advanced technology for members

HUNT VALLEY, Md. – August 13, 2015 – Point Breeze Credit Union announces it will expand into Carroll County with a new office in Westminster, Md. The new office will be located at the corner of Englar and Woodward Roads near the Westminster Crossing East shopping center and is expected to open July 2016.

Adopting a new conversational, relationship-focused service approach for members, this new, innovative style of banking does away with the barriers of traditional teller lines, counters, and cash drawers, opting for an interactive member experience utilizing state-of-the-art in-branch technology.

“In lieu of the traditional lobby setting, our new Westminster office will combine member service workstations with the latest banking technology to enable our members to get what they need quicker and easier, while preserving the personalized service they want,” says Bernie McLaughlin, president of Point Breeze Credit Union.

When entering the office, members will each be personally greeted by a service specialist who, in most cases, will be able to handle all of the member’s needs without delay or referral to other staff members.

“Customers expect to be served quickly and efficiently when doing their banking, whether it’s our free checking, mobile banking or an auto, business or mortgage loan. In the new office, our Member Service Specialists will immediately guide them through their desired transactions, saving them time and making it more convenient,” says McLaughlin. “Utilizing the latest in banking technology, this barrier-free member service experience encourages a greater level of interaction and satisfaction by offering faster, more tailored services.”
