Public Hearing 10/18 for Proposed Solar Farm
First of two public hearings scheduled for 9.9MW solar facility in Union Bridge

(BALTIMORE, MD-October 4, 2018) – The Maryland Public Service Commission will hold the first of two public comment hearings on the application by Citizens UB Solar, LLC to build a 9.9 MW solar facility in Union Bridge (Carroll County), Maryland. The first hearing will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Town of Union Bridge Community Center, 4770 Ladiesburg Road in Union Bridge. A second hearing will be held on January 30, 2019, at a time and location to be determined.
The applicant proposes to construct the project on approximately 50 acres on a property located on Green Valley Road, with portions in both the Town of Union Bridge and unincorporated Carroll County. Members of the public who wish to comment on the project may attend the hearing before Chief Public Utility Law Judge Ryan C. McLean. The application is available for public inspection or copying at the Carroll County Development Review Office, 225 North Center Street, Westminster, Maryland 21791 and at the Town of Union Bridge, 104 W. Locust Street, Union Bridge, Maryland 21791.
Filings in the case can be viewed or downloaded in the electronic docket for Case No. 9483 on the Commission’s website, www.psc.state.md.us.
