Smokin Hot Bar & Grille Rallies Community to Help 2-Year-Old Justice Disney Beat Cancer

Restaurant Hosts Bone Marrow Swab for Young Cancer Patient Sunday, August 14

Two months ago, Amanda and Corporal Derek Disney received the devastating news that their beloved little boy Justice was suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). The family then suffered another blow when an initial round of treatment proved too intense for the 22-month-old. Now, they’re looking at a 4-year treatment plan—and Justice is going to need a bone marrow transplant.

Currently stationed in North Carolina, Amanda and Derek originally hail from Howard County, Maryland. Formerly long-time employees at Smokin’ Hot Bar & Grillle, they remain a part of the Glenwood restaurant family.

That’s why Smokin Hot Bar & Grille is rallying the community to come out this Sunday for a bone marrow swab to help find Justice a match. What’s more, the restaurant is offering $5 off coupons to anyone who participates in this drive.
