Fashion Show Fundraiser for Rescue Mission at Faith Family Church April 25 at 11am; tickets $10; silent auction and free refreshments;

The Westminster Rescue Mission Ladies’ Auxiliary is planning a Spring Fashion Show, featuring new and gently used outfits from the Mission’s thrift stores. The event will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 11:00am-12:30pm at Faith Family Church, 4150 Sykesville Road in Finksburg. Tickets are $10 each. There will be a silent auction and free refreshments provided. All outfits modeled along with accessories will be available for purchase that day. Proceeds from the Fashion Show will benefit the Westminster Rescue Mission, which offers a long-term, faith-based, residential recovery program for men battling addiction. The Mission also serves the community with an extensive food distribution program, providing food baskets through their on-site pantry to over 500 Carroll County households each month, as well as many other distribution points. The Rescue Mission operates two thrift stores -- The Spare Room is located at 28 W. Main Street in downtown Westminster, and the Thrift Barn is located at their main facility at 658 Lucabaugh Mill Road.
