Succeeding at Gold's Gym - Meet Derek

Have you ever met someone who makes you smile just by seeing their smile?  If not, then visit Gold's Gym in the Westminster Town Mall and look for Derek.  Now, he may not have time to chat because he is busy working as a Porter two days per week, but a quick hello is all you need.
Derek has been working at Gold's since August, and maintains a clean atmosphere with his hard work vacuuming, wiping down equipment and emptying trash.  He also works at a law office on Main Street in Westminster, and Derek is an avid sports fan, always ready with scores, trade news and sports stats.  His position at Gold's Gym is a result of Derek completing the Job Training Program through CHANGE, Inc., which happens to also be located at the Town Mall.  His Job Developer, Jim Mayola, helped arrange the interview, and Derek landed the job because of his job ready skills and friendly demeanor.  His supervisor, Lynn Olexy, describes Derek as, "enthusiastic, energetic and hard working". All great qualities anyone hopes to find in an employee.
