Remember that terrible teen movie that people were crazy about years ago? It broke the dam that Animal House had already fractured, and suddenly the world was flooded with movies about teenagers trying to find themselves.
Go on Netflix today, and you will find a ton of them, each director trying to create a new hit with a bunch of hopeful actors and and actresses who think they will become superstars by pushing the boundaries.
These new movies make American Pie look like the sequel to A Wonderful Life. These films contain women and men that think taking off all of their clothing will make more popular movies.
Unfortunately, it seems to be working, as directors continue to add more nudity and graphic content to their projects to make money. I wonder when we will be able to restart society in a way that allows us to balance out some of the flagrant nudity we view every day.
I loved American Pie. Now though, I can't find anything that measures up to it. Interesting how that doesn't add up anymore.
Everybody enjoy a light-hearted partially nude comedy this weekend. It'll be good to laugh at while dealing with the cold.
