Weather Decision From Carroll County Public Schools For Jan. 29

CARROLL COUNTY, MD — Schools will dismiss three hours early on Tuesday, Jan. 29, in Carroll County. Officials with Carroll County Public Schools made the announcement Tuesday morning.

Carroll County is under a winter weather advisory from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service, which issued the advisory, is calling for 1 to 2 inches of snow with 3 inches possible in some areas.

Roads may be slippery during the advisory period, and the State Highway Administration urges drivers to stay off the roads if possible Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night.
