Westminster School Threat 'Unsubstantiated': Sheriff
Someone called in a threat at Cranberry Station Elementary School Monday morning, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office reports.

WESTMINSTER, MD — The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a threat reported at Cranberry Station Elementary School in Westminster.
An employee at the school received a threatening phone call at 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, the sheriff’s office reported.
Deputies found upon investigation that the call was unsubstantiated, and there was no threat to anybody at the school, the report said.

Also on Monday, an elementary school in Harford County received a bomb threat by telephone, leading to an evacuation there. Officials were also trying to track down the caller in that case.
