WHS Performing Arts Seniors say farewell

The 3rd Annual WHS Performing Arts Showcase from Saturday Night, May 30, 2015.

3rd Annual WHS Performing Arts Showcase

Westminster High School Performing Arts Seniors said their goodbyes to family and friends at the 3rd Annual Performing Arts Showcase. The Showcase featured 25 acts with students performing in music, singing, dance and drama. While there were many underclassman who performed, the night belonged to the 2015 WHS graduates as they said ‘Goodbye’ to the WHS stage, their teachers and the parent supporters who’ve been following their performances over their four year career. The WHS Indoor Guard and Indoor Percussion also performed their spring programs. Unlike other musical ensembles at the school, these two ensembles do not learn their programs during classes at school. Instead, students come to the school a couple of nights per week to learn their routines. There is an extraordinary amount of talent at WHS and it was on full display last night.

The night closed with the Senior Thespians performing a version of ’Time Of Your Life” by Green Day. That ended their performing careers at WHS. All that is left is graduation night on Wednesday, June 3.
