The second annual βPink Outβ is especially distinctive this year, given that all proceeds will remain local and support a Foundation created in the memory of the mother of Winters Mill senior Christian Davis, according to a news release.Β
βWe are honored to have the proceeds from the βPink Outβ benefit the Foundation that helps so many Carroll County residents fighting breast cancer,β says Aaron Davis, Christianβs father. βTo see an entire high school community coming together in support of this important cause is incredible.β
Each sporting event will include opportunities for spectators to donate to the cause β either through t-shirt sales, bake sales or monetary donations.Β
βItβs a great way for our students to give back to the community for a worthy cause,β said Zophy.
