Winters Mill Makes a Showing at Regional Indoor Track Meet

The Falcon girls were paced by junior Hannah Oneda. She captured the 1600 and 3200 meter runs and finished fourth in the 800.

The boys got first place finishes from Ryan Spangler and Zach Hopkins. Spangler took the 1600 meter run and was third in the 800. Hopkins won the 3200 meter run.

Westminster completed earlier in the week in the Class 4A West regional meet. The boys finished 12^th in the regional as Eric Belt was fourth in the shot put. The girls didn’t score in the meet.

The top four finishers in each event move on to the state meet which is set for Feb. 21.
