York County Community Foundation's Embracing Aging to host Aging in Place event
What is aging in place? What do I need to consider in my plan? What resources are available to assist me or my loved one?
“Learn How to Live Longer and Stronger in the Place You Call Home” will be a learning session for older adults and adult children/caregivers of older adults that provides guests with knowledge on how to plan for aging in place in York County and the resources available for assistance.
Speakers will include Matthew Gallardo of Messiah Lifeways; Dory Brannon, housing chief at York County Planning Commission; and Sandy Mundis of Comfort Keepers.
The event is sponsored by York County Community Foundation’s Hahn Home Fund for Embracing Aging and York Housing Advisory Commission’s Education & Outreach Committee.
