4 Carjackers Attack Man at Wheaton Metro Station Garage
Police have released a photo of the suspect who drove away in the victim's car; a $10,000 reward is being offered in the case.

A man was assaulted by a young man at the Wheaton Metro parking garage last month, and his car stolen by a group of four suspects in their teens or early 20s, police say.
Montgomery County Police released descriptions of the four suspected carjackers Thursday, along with a surveillance image of the suspect who reportedly hit the victim and then drove her car in the getaway.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the carjackers in the case, which happened about 10 a.m. Nov. 13 at the Wheaton Metro station parking garage, 11010 Viers Mill Road. The 20-year-old victim parked on the third floor of the garage, and was walking toward the elevator when he was confronted by the four suspects.
The first suspect assaulted the man while a second suspect took his car keys and other property. The four carjackers drove off in the victim’s vehicle.

- The first suspect is described as a black male, about 17 to 20 years old, 5’8” to 5’10’ tall, and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. He has short black hair. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing a red, hooded jacket and dark pants.
- The second suspect is described as a black male, about 17 to 20 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. At the time of the carjacking, he was wearing a black, hooded jacket.
- The third suspect is described as a black male, about 17 to 20 years old, wearing dark clothing.
- The fourth suspect is described as a black male, 15 to 16 years old, wearing dark clothing.
Anyone with information about any of these suspects or the carjacking is asked to call police at 240-773-5100.
