5-Vehicle Crash In Wheaton Sends 4 Adults, 2 Children To Hospital
The crash also left one person trapped in their car, while another was reported to be in critical condition.
WHEATON, MD —Six people, including children, were hospitalized in Wheaton Saturday night following a five-vehicle collision, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.
The crash occurred on Saturday at 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and University Boulevard in Wheaton, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson Pete Piringer said in a tweet.

One person was ejected and another was trapped, Piringer said. Montgomery County paramedics transported four adults and two children to the hospital. One adult sustained life threatening injuries, Piringer said.

All westbound lanes of University Boulevard reopened to traffic about an hour after the crash, according to the WTOP Traffic Center.
