51-Year-Old Man Missing From Wheaton: Police

Police and family are concerned for Roy Sumbwe's emotional welfare.

WHEATON, MD — Police are searching for a 51-year-old man missing from the Wheaton area.

Roy Sumbwe was last seen by family members at about 11 p.m. Tuesday when he was left his McMahon Road residence on foot, police said.

Police describe Sumbwe as a black male, 6’1” tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and a birthmark on the right side of his forehead.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Roy Sumbwe is urged to call the 24-hour police non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
