A Monumental Paddle
Come view the iconic monuments of Washington, D.C. by kayak! We’ll
travel by van from Black Hill to the Tidal Basin, and enjoy fabulous views as
we paddle the Potomac past the Kennedy Center and Georgetown, with a stop at
Roosevelt Island. This is not an instructional or novice course, so if you’ve
never paddled, please try our Beginning Kayaking course first. We’ll do a quick
review of moving water safety considerations and maneuvers. Fee covers kayaks,
paddles, PFDs, a dry bag, and round trip transportation. Black
