• Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival to Celebrate 10th Anniversary (mocoshow.com) — Downtown Wheaton will host the 10th Annual Wheaton Arts Parade and Festival on Sunday, September 27, with a full day of free, family-friendly art, performances, and activities. The parade runs from Georgia Avenue near University Boulevard to Marian Fryer Town Plaza above the Wheaton Metro, followed by more than 50 artist booths, kids' activities, and a biergarten.
   

• Discover history, nature, and family fun with Montgomery Parks this September (montgomeryparks.org) — From a Wheaton-based Montgomery Parks announcement, residents can tap into a full slate of September events across the county, from crab feasts and history talks to tea at Woodlawn and a costume ball.
