Just Like the Pubs in Scotland

I have visited pubs all over Scotland, England and Wales enjoying the opportunity ot sit in traditional music jam sessions. the Wool Pack in Louth, England and the Ensign Ewart on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh, Scotland. This Sunday, November 4 everyone who cares to experience Celtic roots music will have the same opportunity.  From 4 until 7pm, Peter Walker and local Scottish musicians will have a "session" at the only real Scottish pub in a several state area. The Royal Mile Pub in Wheaton, Maryland will host this special event. Walker invites local musicians to join in sharing of the rich muscial heritage of the Scots.  Fiddles, guitars, whistles, flutes, banjos, small pipes and even a cello blend together to produce an afternoon of lively, exciting and sometimes gentle songs of the Scottish people.  I stumbled upon this musical delight by accident two years ago and keep coming back for more. Few people know about the Royal Mile Pub...some say it's the best kept secret in fine dining and enteratinment so I just tell freinds to GPS "Royal Mile" and sit back to watch their faces fill up with delight. It is really a very unique place.
