The 79th Annual International Exhibition of Fine Art in Miniature

An amazing and beautiful display of miniature art is currently being exhibited at the Mansion at Strathmore, 10701 Rockville Pike, 20852.  The show includes 674 miniature works of art done by 264 artists.  No work is larger that 25 square inches.  Many works require a magnifying glass to be able to see and appreciate the fine datail.  Magnifying glasses are available for close examination.  The exhibition runs through December 29.  

The exhibition is presented by the Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washingon, DC, (MPSGS) the oldest miniature art society in the U.S. and the second oldest in the world.
