PRJC Presents The Charm City Traditional Jazz Sound

When the “Peabody Promenader Jazz Band” perform (we’ve heard your call to hear new bands, but we request your support) Be prepared for a blend of popular traditional melodies and some brand-new, early-days’ style traditional jazz music. Led by master level trombonist and composer Marcel Penzes, one of the hottest new players on the local scene. The band features the “cream of the crop” musicians from America’s oldest music academy, Baltimore’s Peabody Conservatory. The audience can expect to hear a lineup that includes both known and forgotten jazz from turn-of-the-last-century Baltimore composers.
