Sure, you could go to the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Annapolis, but why not stay closer to home with a slightly newer tradition - the Kensington Labor Day Parade and Festival.
The parade will start at 10am on the corner of Plyers Mill Road and St. Paul Street. The festival, along antique row, will include food, music and crafts.
If you've decided to come to the Maryland State Fair on Sunday, though, but aren't suffering from a case of Bieber Fever, stop by the Patch booth and say hi! I'll be there in the evening, hearing the screams of teenage fans from afar.
