Editor's Weekend Picks

There's plenty to do and see this weekend, but it's not often that you get to see dogs and waterslides together. Bring your puppy to the Wheaton Glenmont Pool for the Pooch Pool Party where they can splash and play as the pool season comes to a close. Note: registration is required through the Rec Department.

For our non-canine readers, just down the road Takoma Park will be holding its 33rd Annual Folk Festival on Sunday. Running at Takoma Park Middle School, while musical acts are the main attraction, the festival will also include crafts, lots of food vendors and activities for kids.
