A GREENER GLENMONT - PHASE 1 (SSL hours available)

We're finally getting rid of that giant, ugly, unkempt bush at the corner of Weller Road and Hathaway Drive, in preparation for planting a rain garden or doing other conversation landscaping this fall! Volunteers will trim down the invasive plant, and another volunteer with a Bobcat will pull up the stump.

Student-service learning (SSL) hours will be available for student volunteers!

We'll have tools, but if you have your own tree clippers, shovels, yard waste bags, etc. please bring them.

Dress appropriately - close-toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will supply gardening gloves and bottled water. The area isn't shaded, so don't forget your sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses.

We'll start at 10am and stop when we're done! Hope you can make it!
