Opening reception: Sunday, February 9 from 1 - 5 pm
Ann Gordon has a very strong interest in the world around her. She uses her brushes and paint to record what sees. Her paintings tell a story of people and places, as well as the time of day and quality of light.
Ann has been a working artist and a teacher in Montgomery Co. for 40 years. She earned a BFA from American University, and has taught in Adult Education and various schools in the county. The last 20 years of her career were spent as an Arts/Specialist for the US Army. These days she also works as a Docent for the Smithsonian American Art Museum and leads tours for children and adults.
