Montgomery County Police arrested Christopher Edward Gardner, 34, early this morning after a four hour standoff.
At approximately 1:12 a.m., 4th District officers responded to a domestic violence call. Gardener was inside a residence in the 2200 block of Victor Court with a woman who had obtained a protection order against him on May 26. The order stated that he was not to contact her.
Officers heard yelling inside the house, and Gardener refused to exit the residence. They attempted to contact him by knocking on the door and calling the telephone. Gardner surrended to the police around 5:30 a.m. without incident.
