Metro Police Break Up Fight in Glenmont Metro

Metro Transit Police responded to a physical fight occurring inside the Glenmont Metro Station  shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Metro spokesperson Cathy Asato, a verbal fight between an adult male and a 17-year-old started outside the station and escalated inside the station.

The 17-year-old sustained minor injuries but refusal medical transport, and his parents were called. The adult male fled the scene and police are canvassing the area for him.
