WHEATON, MD — In a Wednesday morning update, Montgomery County officials say Cristal Nelly Tavara Samaniego has been located and is safe.


(Original post) WHEATON, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Wheaton teenager.

Cristal Nelly Tavara Samaniego, 15, of Georgian Way, was last seen getting dropped off in the area of Albert Einstein High School around 8 a.m. Friday, police said.

Investigators describe Tavara Samaniego as a 5-foot-6, 120-pound female with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black winter jacket, and black boots.
